Granted Bush had a lot to do with the economy going down. The problem though with this legislation it does not touch the elements which were destroyed during those years. The housing industry just foreclosing on homes with no intent to repair the economies by working out the loans and adding cashflow back to the economies. Also there is nothing to prevent jobs from outsourcing work overseas or moves to move the American Dollar out of the Federal Reserve and back to commodity backed National currency.
Anyway, helping people out who lost jobs in an environment where the jobs are not plentiful. It is a good measure from this mammoth legislation. We could have passed that measure without all of the other overhead.
