Congress Passes CR, Collapses in a Heap
Like a high school student who put off writing a term paper until the last minute, Congress worked late into the night last night to complete work on a “continuing resolution” to fund the government through the election. H.R. 3081 provides for the government to run at funding levels about equal to FY2010 levels until December 3rd.
We like to give you numbers showing how much money the bill spends per U.S. family, but this way of doing spending is incredibly opaque. We’ll work on it.
