RDT&E, Combat Vehicle and Automotive Advanced Technology, for development of a standard methodology and conceptual model for Department of Defense ground vehicle systems and posts, camps and stations to determine the fully burdened cost of fuel (FBCF). The goal is to support the evaluation of alternative energy applications to reduce DOD energy consumption in ground vehicle systems by 25%. DoD requires the fully burdened cost of delivered energy in trade-off analyzes conducted for all tactical systems.
