A Dept of Peace would either be ineffective, as long as there are rogue nations and groups of people who don't want peace, or unnecessary, if the world was actually at peace!

Why does Congress continue to spend money it:

---Doesn't have

---Doesn't spend wisely

Please toss this bill! We can save $10 billion!

Department of Peace? What is the State Department role anyway? Of course, maybe abolishing the Department of State, firing all its personnel and starting from scratch under another name might help as long as Obama does not have the appointing authority!
