Given the current and projected state of US deficits and debt, our Park Service, and Forest Service budgets and staffs have been severely cut. There is no way that a budget to "maintain" lunar assets is realistic, no matter how ideally patriotic this Bill may be. Bills requiring implementation that is effectively impossible, for any reason, should never be passed, witness Obamacare.

I can't believe that someone would even think about doing this. Our country has the worst deficit it has ever had and there is no slowing down in sight because of bills like this. It sounds great, but we don't have the money. I'm sure all Americans would love to be able to buy everything they wanted even though they didn't have the money, just like our politicians do. But guess what???? We can't, so neither should you.
