STOP THE SUBSIDIES! Our country is broke. Let these farmers sink or swim on their own. You Congressment use OUR money any way you like. NO! Stop the spending!

Hey, just issue an "executive order" to require every family to purchase maple syrup with your Obama care insurance. Problem solved, now where's the next golf game?

I hope that other states besides the ones with existing Msaple Syrup programs will be elegible to apply. In the pacific northwest we have thousands of acres of Big leaf Maple that the native peoples and locals have used for maple water for years.

A new product like maple water would be valuable to small tribal and forest based communities.
