Congress Passes War Spending Bill

Both the House and Senate have passed identical versions of H.R. 2346, the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2009. It now goes to the president for his signature. The bill spends about $920 per U.S. family. This bill is mostly to fund war spending, but,...

I'm sick of these people spending money for the benefits of the few. This is not for Americans. Wake the hell up! Oh wise ones in Washington.

Congress reminds me of a bunch of school kids who just got their Visa cards, and believe everything is free, never-realizing that bills do come due. Talk about mismanagement of funds. They are like drug addicts, and get their daily fix from the FED.

Remember! It is the patriotic duty of every citizen, to mindlessly support all attacks on other nations by our glorious country, whether they were initiated by a deranged mental midget Repub or not.

The destruction of America's economy is DELIBERATE. The international bankers WANT TO DESTROY AMERICA AND THEY INSTITUTED THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND THE IRS JUST FOR THAT PURPOSE. They want to own the American people and the worlds' population and use us as their "production units" like they use the factory farm animals. The national I.D. system is one of the links in the heavy chains that they are forging to enslave the world. REBEL!!Don't bow down to the corporate elite and the international bankers. DON'T TAKE THE "NATIONAL" I.D. CARD OR THE 666 MICROCHIP MIND-CONTROL IMPLANT!6giuy

Stop the international bankers plots, plans and conspiracies for a one world Satanic totalitarian, military, police-state dictatorship! REBEL! Do NOT take a national I.D. card which is simply a warm-up for the 666, mark of the beast, microchip, mind-control implant implant. These are just links in the heavy chains that the so-called power-elite are forging for the rest of the world's population.

I understand how people could be upset by the budget; however, I am counting on this bill passing because of the $500 a month backpay stipend for soldiers who were stop lossed. I was stop lossed for 22 months and I really need the money. I have a wife and kid, I am going to school, and I am 50% disabled because my back is destroyed from 2 tours in Iraq. I am not arguing with your idealogical point of view on the war in Iraq and Afganistan. However, a little support for myself, other veterans, and those who are currently serving would be greatly appreciated. A good way of looking at it is that you are supporting the troops and not the war. Thank you for your time.

It's time to seperate the goats from the sheep. The 32 Democrats who voted no on this bill have my thanks. We must end this central bank/war economic model. Remember the soldiers in North Korea are fed.

As long as Obama gets us the hell out of both war zones and I get my $4500 for the old piece of crap sitting in the driveway, I'm all for it. He might want to save some of this money for little Kim in N.K. though.

To Justin, I hear you man. I was only stop-lossed for 5 months, and i can't imagine being there for 22 months, that's crazy. Anyways people, you should be supporting your troops as individuals. There are a lot of troops that have their lives ruined by the military one way or another, and any way that we can repay them for their debt should be a no-brainer. Yes, the war was unnecessary if it was to protect the US from foreign attacks, because Iraq wasn't the problem in that case. But there are a lot of soldiers laying their lives on the line because they have to to make a living. Cut them some slack and have your beef with those who call the shots.

I am glad you have the luxury of making comments and opinions from your couch while drinking starbucks. At the same time men and women of the armed-forces are going without a shower for weeks, missing meals and taking enemy fire and away from their families. Your welcome cowards!!! How about picking up an m-16 and standing a post instead of making your useless comments on blogs, your country would appreciate it.
