I am in favor of having this 629 passed. If I get a chance go back for temporary/ partime work. I retired with 32 years civil service, with our loss of S Security benifits that we were promised when hired,& costs of living and medical costs. We old GEEZERS as they are calling us have many years of knowlage to help train and assist the new hires needed to fill in for the projected 60% retirees in the next 5 years with the "BABY BOOMERS RETIRING". With these retiring employees out, managment will have hard time covering critical assignments, in my case with food inspectors in USDA meat & poultry agency. We can fillin not take jobs & help with vacations coverage and tumporay voids in short staffed positions while new employees are being hired and processed into the positions then move on to where we can help with job coverage & training.
ON THE QUESTION OF US TAKING (UNION EMPLOYEE JOBS) in my case I am and have been a AFGE PAYING MONTHLY MEMBER MY SELF 45 years). Thank you JDG old Geezer
