January 28, 2009, 1:20am (report abuse)I vote for this bill. The restrictions on flights at DCA and LGA are outdated.
The public would benefit from the addition of nonstop flights from these airports to destinations outside of the perimeter restrictions.
In the instance of DCA, where I live, here are some examples of flights that I think should be added:
DCA--LAX (one roundtrip flight already exists)
DCA--SFO
DCA--SEA (one roundtrip flight already exists)
DCA--SAN
DCA--AUS
DCA--SAT
DCA--SMF
...and probably a few more....
