June 13, 2009, 7:46pm (report abuse)This is ridiculous. If they can smuggle drugs and illegal aliens into the country, how hard would it be to smuggle guns out? Why waste time on such a trivial piece of legislation. The only way for Mexico to get a grip is to end their failed socialist state that has about killed their oil industry and return to a market based economy and let the people own a piece of the action, earning it through their own hard work. Oh, I forgot, who are we to lecture, we are headed in the same direction by our current Congress, or better called, the U.S. Dictatorship of the Proletariat.
