As one of the oldest ecosystems on the PLANET (they existed long before the dinosaurs), coral reefs only make up 1% of the planet's structure yet provides housing for 25% of the world's fish! Coral reefs provide a $400 billion income from food/economics etc. 25% of the world's reefs are gone and we may lost another 50% by 2050. The time to act is now.
