May 14, 2009, 10:07am (report abuse)I think the $7500 deduction should be good the whole year and for any type of vehicle, not just a passenger vehicle or light truck. There are those of us who would like to pay cash as opposed to going into debt so we need more time to save up. Why the decreasing deduction. Don't you want us to be responsible about the decision and have some time to shop around and save our money instead of jumping head first into more debt because we feel pressured?
