THIS IS A TERRIFIC BILL- BUT WILL CONGRESS HELP THE PEOPLE LEASE THE PROPERTIES. THE BANKS ONLY WANT THEM BACK SO THEY CAN RE-SELL THEM. WE NEED CONGRESS TO STRONG ARM THE BANKS AND MAKE THEM LEASE THE PROPERTIES BACK TO THE OWNER AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE. THEN THE PROPERTIES ARE NOT LEFT ABANDED AND ARE KEEP UP AND MOST OF ALL AMERICAN CITIZENS HAVE A PLACE TO LIVE.

There is no question that this bill has the potential to help ex-homeowners. The real questions is whether this bill can be implemented. If you will remember that President made a big deal about his loan modification program. How it was going to help homeowners stay in their homes.
If you look at the numbers they are meaningless. Another good idea that never worked. Why? because the administration does not understand basic business principles. Just because it is a "feel good" program does not mean that it is going to work. I wish our government officials would listen to the people rather than other government insiders. As long as Washington does what it "Thinks" is in our best interest without consulting the general public I only see one fail program after another.
