Why are we thinking of spending mor eof our money outside our country when we have so many here than need help. We need to worry about our mothers and children first!

I am concerned by the specific wording of H.R. 1410 SECT.3(f(a)(1) (D)child spacing. This means not proximity in hospitals, nor transmission of disease, but how quickly a woman gives birth again. Women do not die simply because they have children in rapid succession. This section of wording of this act does not address the heath needs but merely add to women’s health issues. It is certainly known that any birth control method carries health risks and pressures women to conform to others views of what is proper timing or family planning. To truly help decrease infant and maternal mortality,it would be necessary to address core issues and not spend money to fit some superflous ideology.Nutrition and decreased disease transmission are the need. For longevity and sustainability try increasing economic opportunities through micro-loans and increase of self-sufficiency by teaching indigenous principles, hygiene, and health care rather than increasing handouts and family planning propaganda.
