I know this would be an outstanding benifit to our veterans. I see alot of new and chronic conditions that chiropractor treat fast, better and more economicaly than long term medication use.

I would feel better about this if all chiropractors limited their claims to ailments they can actually help with.

Back pain? Joint pain? sure

Asthma? Kidney stones? Cholesterol? I think not

Chiropractors are licensed as physicians according to the Federal Government and they are required to learn how to evaluate and manage non-musculoskeletal conditions. There are certainly non-allopathic treatments for the above mentioned conditions that do not require prescription drugs. For example, one of the treatments for prevention of kidney stones is proper hydration. Drink water? Maybe you are worried about chiropractors claiming to cure such conditions with manipulation? I would be concerned with such a claim... Chiropractors are trained to provide many other non-manipulation services such as wellness and preventive services that include diet, nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation, etc. Chiropractors are well-trained to manage many primary care conditions that do not require manipulation. Yet, most people think of chiropractors and manipulation providers for joint problems due to ignorance of the training required of chiropractic physicians, which is quite extensive.
